new story idea

i just came up with what i think is a great new plot point for a story i am working on ,it's about a team of vampire hunter's in the very far future where earth is populated by vamps,humans and cross breeds of the two ,any way my new idea iis that the group of hunter's inject garlic into the bloodstream of all the team member's ,there by making it impossible for them to get bitten ,if they do the vamp dies ,i think this is the idea i have been searching for to bring this story much farther along -Whoo-Hoo
